Renee Atwell
Hi, I’m Renee, founder of Caribbean Law Tutor, passionate legal educator, and practicing attorney with six years of experience in litigation.
I pursued my Bachelor of Laws (LLB) at the University of the West Indies, Cave Hill Campus in Barbados, where I was actively involved in student leadership through UWI STAT and the Trinidad and Tobago Students’ Association (TTSA).
After that, I returned home to Trinidad and Tobago to complete my professional legal training at Hugh Wooding Law School, where I truly did it all, from being on the editorial committee for The Gavel (the school’s newsletter), to proudly representing the institution at the 23rd Annual Stetson International Environmental Moot Court Competition in Tampa, Florida.
Since being called to the bar, I’ve spent the last six years in active legal practice, primarily in litigation, and I genuinely love what I do. But equally close to my heart is teaching, mentorship, and empowering the next generation of Caribbean lawyers.
